Going Deep – Holistic Health Techniques:
Going deep into each session, the following holistic health techniques bring balance to the mind and body.

VISUALIZATION

The body and mind are connected, therefore intentional positive thoughts are read by the body. 

A guided visualization will be performed to bring attention to a desired outcome.

PRANAYAMA

The Sanskrit word for “breath control” or “life force”.

There are different types of pranayamas, each with powerful benefits. Specific breath work will bring more prana or vital energy flow to the areas focused on.

ASANA

The asanas (poses) will be customized to engage organs and tissues holding emotional and physical imbalances. Each pose in a yoga practice impacts the body in specific ways.

ACUPRESSURE

 Acupressure points or energy meridians are vital energy channels that carry life force to the systems of the body.  

By physically applying pressure to these meridian points, the body’s relaxation response is stimulated. 

 MEDITATION

A guided meditation will be performed to bring the mind and body into a peaceful state.

A mantra or chant is used to enhance focus and concentration.

SOUND FREQUENCY

Sound frequencies will be played during the session to stimulate specific parts of the body for optimal health.

NUTRITION

Food is energy.  Different food groups effect different regions of the body. Specific foods are recommended that will nourish and heal tissues in the body.

STRUCTURAL EXERCISES

Structural exercises outside of the holistic health techniques will be recommended for home practice.
